The
European Beach Volleyball Championships Final2009
will take place in Sochi on September 16-19
On September 16-19 there will take place the Final of the European
Beach Volleyball Championships.
Official
international competition in the Olympic sport is included in the
cultural program of the Sochi Forum for the first time, and this fact
emphasizes, that in Krasnodar Region great value is given to
development of sports.
High interest to the
Final of European Beach volleyball Championship is proved by the level
of the organizers: the European Confederation of volleyball, the
Ministry of sports, tourism and youth policy of the Russian Federation,
Organizing committee of the Forum "Sochi-2009", administration of
Krasnodar Region, municipality of Sochi, the Russian federation of
volleyball.
Beach volleyball is
one of the fastest-growing Olympic sports. Its popularity among a wide
audience is caused by a unique combination of sport show at the highest
level, demonstration of force and physical beauty in an atmosphere of
resort: sun, beach, music and good mood. During the last few years
European Beach Volleyball became the main phenomenon which is setting
the fashion to a world "beach" community. Organizers do not doubt, that
tribunes will be jam-packed, and the atmosphere of a holiday for a long
time remains in memory of visitors and participants of the tournament.
By tradition, the program of events at such level is accompanied by
different sort of actions: concerts, various shows, etc. the European
Beach volleyball Championship, lead in Sochi in 2008, was highly
appreciated by all: the participants, the organizing committee of the
Forum, and by the official organizers of competitions. Traditionally
the tournament has been widely discussed in the Russian and foreign
mass-media.
The audience of beach
volleyball is mobile and solvent; men and women who follow the
tendencies in a fashion, culture and sports, conduct an active way of
life. The Final of the European Beach volleyball Championships in Sochi
is the culmination of the European Tour 2009 that will make stops in
Spain, Austria, Germany and Great Britain.

The championship of
Europe will be covered by Russian and international mass-media (about
1500 hours of TV coverage in 180 regions of Europe and world in 2008).
In 2009, from
September, 16 till September, 19th, the best European teams (female and
male) will struggle for the title of the European Champions and for
100,000 Euro of prize money. More than 30,000 spectators can
eyewitnesses this unique entertaining show during 4 days of
competitions. The tournament is an official part of the cultural
program within the frame of the VIII International Investment Forum
"Sochi-2009" and will take part in Sochi at the beach in "Riviera" park.
The organizers of the
event are ready to discuss possible cooperation with commercial and
organizational partners (marketing@rusbv.ru).
Participation of partners in the tournament can have various forms and
options on presence and to be included in local and international
mass-media, carrying out of promotions within the limits of
tournaments, the VIP service and so on, up to an exclusive presence in
the whole European Championship Tour. Participants of the Forum will
receive a unique opportunity to feel the atmosphere of one of the most
entertaining kinds of sport - beach volleyball, which corresponds to
the image of Sochi resort the best way!
